Ekaterina Gorkhover
Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan Ekaterina Gorkhover has started playing violin from the age of 5 and received her musical training at the Uspenski Music School and Tashkent State Conservatory. She earned a Master of Music Degree from Brooklyn College in New York.
She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe, North America and Asia. As a teenager she was invited to participate in the prestigious “New names” program in Moscow, Russia where she performed both as a soloist and a member of the orchestra. Ms. Gorkhover received the “Tassano” award for outstanding achievement in music and was a top prize winner in the “Shabit” chamber music competition in Kazakhstan.
In 2007/2008 Ms. Gorkhover performed with the Symphony Orchestra of India. Ekaterina is well-versed in all musical styles and genres both as a classical musician and performing on an electric violin.
Jeniya Antonyan
...is a Russain is violinist and laureate of many international violin competitions. She started to learn violin at the age of 6 and from the age 8, she began to attend and successfully perform at major festivals and competitions.
At the age of 12, she received the Musica Viva Orchestra Grant and was admitted into the prestigious Central Music School at Moscow State P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory. There, she studied with Professor Alexandr Vinnitsky.
During her studies, she performed regularly with ensembles and toured with the Moscow Conservatory Chamber Orchestra. After her receiving her diploma with distinction, she became a successful violin competitions.
Evgenia Mott
Her background is as a classical musician educated in the City of Nizhny Novgorod Russia, with a Master degree in Music Performance and Music Education. She was awarded first prize at international competition of ensemble and quartet music in Moscow in April 2010. She has performed solo recitals featuring standard classical repertoire as well as innovative contemporary projects. Evgenia is a leader of a classical string quartet, trio, duo ”Gran Volta” for Celebrity Cruises cruise lines. She has extensive experience performing string quartets, trio, duo from the standard repertoire.
Evgenia is a leader of “Gran Volta” electronic string duo, a Cruise Line Headliner Act for Oceana Cruises. She created a show called Explosive which includes virtuosity you expect of a Russian trained string duo with the high energy of Rock Stars. The style of the show breaks the boundaries between different genres of music, from classical (Vivaldi) to pop (Michael Jackson) and rock music (Nirvana).
